Lisa Dalfino

Lisa Dalfino, born in Como in 1987, lives and works in Tuscany. She studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, graduating in 2016.
Her artistic research focuses on exploring human existence through deep introspection. Her works investigate the interaction between reality and unreality, the material and the transcendent, merging human, animal, plant, and surreal forms that transform within and with the spaces they inhabit. Dalfino observes and represents the inner dimension of the individual—composed of thoughts, desires, emotions, and stimuli—transforming it into works that resonate with the collective subconscious, transcending cultural and geographical boundaries. Her creations are not merely objects, but entities capable of evoking hidden connections and deep visions of reality.

Malta dei Papi

Dalfino’s installation is placed in a symbolic location considered the “navel of the world.” The work consists of suspended frosted glass sculptures illuminated by a single beam of light. These anatomical forms evoke a connection between the divine and the subterranean, creating a subtle boundary between the visible and the invisible, and inviting the viewer to subconscious reflection.
